Ravenshaw College, Cuttack - Over a 100 years old and still gets to see a lot of cricketers on dusty mornings. In January 1863, the Cuttack High School, established in January 1841, was expanded to impart collegiate education. The Cuttack College was renamed Ravenshaw College in 1878 in recognition of the services rendered by T.E.Ravenshaw, the then Commissioner of the Cuttack Division, towards the spread of higher education in the state.
